Dogs Activities

Has your dog ever rolled in something smelly, so smelly that you don't even want to let him in the house? Or does your dog's fur look flat and not have any shine to it whatsoever? If so, it might be time to give him a bath to make his fur look fresh and clean once more. Dog bathing is a popular activity that many dogs need in order to keep them clean and smelling good. One thing to keep in mind though is that the frequency of bathing really depends on your dog's coat. Some dogs should only be bathed a few times a year because of the type of coat they have, so it's important that you consult with a vet to find out what is healthy for your dog.
Another popular grooming activity that many dogs need from time to time is fur trimming or cutting. You might decide to give your dog a haircut if his coat has grown so out of control that you can no longer tell what type of dog he is. Often times a quick trim can mean the difference between a shaggy dog and a well groomed pet
Finally, the third grooming activity worth mentioning is nail trimming. It's important that you trim a dog's nails on a regular basis because nails, when left to grow too long, can crack and split and be very painful to walk on if this happens. Nails should be trimmed enough so that you can only hear a faint tapping on the hard floor when they walk.
